Default Laggity lag, lag lag

Hi,
Been having lag with guild wars factions. On the international server, my ping is at 120, perfectly fine. But as soon as I head back to the European servers, my ping shoots back up to around 800-900. Is there a way to solve this problem or are Aussies doomed to lag and rubber banding. Thanks very much!

And yes, I’ll change my username later. I accidentally hit the auto fill button in the Google tool bar <_<

I am from Europe and i get some serious lag too (ping is ok)... my 2nd account is an usa account; my ping is higher on usa servers but i get hardly any lag there. I play many different online games, but i only have these kind of problems with GW.

My conclusion: European GW servers are crap

I'm eurotrash too and had to log off (omg!) because of severe lag. the ping remains green most of the time though but I rubberband across the maps. Very frustrating.

I'm also getting some lag again, for example yesterday, playing at Fort Aspenwood (Kurzick). The lag is not so bad as the infamous European network trouble time (When it was mentioned at the GW.com site)

Still annoying because my characters location went out of sync between server and client. (I ran back into base with the amber but te server decided I was still outside and being pounded by Luxon hammers)

Yes you can change territories, but only a limited number of times (by head: 4 or 5 times)...

You can do this on your character selection screen via the "edit account" button...

I've been getting a lot of lag as well; it appears to be impossible to get a gladiator point lately, seeing as how you have a 'network error' (even though there's nothing wrong with my 'network') every other match!
